Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on this books and parent-help site. We do not claim that every linked third-party page or PDF meets the same standard.
What we have done
- Use one clear page heading and a logical heading order.
- Provide a skip link and visible keyboard focus.
- Use text and focus colours with strong contrast.
- Keep parent-help routes visible on small screens before sales links.
- Use layouts designed to reflow at narrow widths and browser zoom.
- Add text alternatives for meaningful images and hide decorative images.
- Avoid motion when a device asks for reduced motion.
- Write activities with non-speaking and no-printer choices.
Checks completed
On 18 September 2026, we checked the parent hub and guides for keyboard use, visible focus, colour contrast, headings, landmarks, link names and reduced motion. We also reviewed the narrow-screen layout rules. Automated checks help us find issues, but they do not replace human use.
Known limits
Some older pages and third-party services may not match the newer parent-guide layout. Our privacy policy is supplied as a PDF on the main Pocket Money Adventures site. If any format blocks you, ask us for the information in another way.
Tell us about a problem
Email hello@pocketmoneyadventures.co.uk. Tell us the page, device or browser and what you were trying to do. Do not send a child’s private information.
We will acknowledge an accessibility report and work to give you the information or a practical route as soon as we can.
