About Pocket Money Adventures
Pocket Money Adventures CIC creates story-led money learning for children aged 4–7. The first picture book, Ava Saves Up!, follows Ava through a money choice in Silverton and introduces the shared routine Tap. Tap. Pause. The wider ecosystem includes free family and classroom activities, parent guides, school delivery and community sessions.
The project combines children’s storytelling with practical money conversations. It does not ask children to carry adult financial worries or disclose what their family owns, buys or can afford. Free public activities are available without payment, registration or child-data collection.
Current media angles
- Children and contactless money: why “just tap it” can make spending feel invisible to young children.
- A story-led approach: using characters and choices before introducing financial vocabulary.
- Free family and school resources: printable and adapted activities for ages 4–7.
- Independent children’s-book coverage: the first external reviews and local coverage of Ava Saves Up!.
